Here is what you need to provide the Court when the decedent died with a Will:
- Original Death Certificate of Hudson County Resident
- Original Last Will and Testament and/or Codicils
- Information Sheet
- Photocopy of Executor’s ID
- Filing Fee (TBD)
Here is what you need to provide the Court when the decedent died without a Will:
- Original Death Certificate of Hudson County Resident
- Affidavit of Assets
- Information Sheet
- Photocopy of Applicant's ID
- Next of Kin Renunication/Consent (if applicable)
- Filing Fee (TBD)
Here is what you need to provide the Court when Guardianship of a Minor is required for Person/Property:
- Minor’s Original Birth Certificate
- Minor’s Original Social Security Card
- Information on where the funds for the minor are coming from / Order for Judgment Directing Deposit of Funds
- Information Sheet
- Photocopy of Guardian’s ID
- Filing Fee (TBD)
